Argentine Top Grain cow leather with goat suede lining. The Petalo dog lead matches the Petalo dog collar and features a design inspired by the iconic 'Dulce' pattern, consisting of classic navy, pale pink and bright fuchsia threads.
Like all of pampeano’s dog accessories, the Petalo pink and navy dog lead has been hand-crafted in South America by pampeano’s highly skilled artisans who have practiced this native and iconic design for generations.
The finest Argentine leather is first hand-selected for its perfect quality and thick, strong structure. It is then vegetable-tanned to produce its buttery handle and rich, Havana brown colour. The leather is then cut to length, with the edges sheared and hand-painted for a beautiful finish. Next, the iconic pampa diamonds are hand-pressed into the leather to cut the shapes ready to be stitched. A single artisan continues by intricately hand-weaving the vibrant patterns into the leather using strong, wax-dipped saddlery threads. This signature thread, originally used on pampeano’s polo equipment, has been dyed into a kaleidoscope of colours, and is coated in wax to ensure that it is easy to clean, glides through the leather and does not rip or fray. Made to last a lifetime, the Petalo dog lead is here to last through a lifetime of country dog walks.
For the perfect bespoke touch, your pampeano leather dog lead can be personalised with your dog’s name, which will be hand-embossed into the leather at your request, with up to ten letters. This is a great idea if you have more than one dog, or if you are giving the Petalo dog collar and lead set as a gift.
The Petalo leather dog lead measures 115cm long as standard and it's available in two widths; skinny 1.5cm for smaller dog collars (XXS – S) and standard 2.5cm width for larger dog collars (M – XL).

To maintain the richness of the leather, you should nourish it with a good leather conditioner every so often. Apply a small amount onto a dry cloth and rub into the leather. Use a separate cloth to buff it until all of the conditioner has been absorbed.
Try and keep your dog lead dry. If it does get wet, just blot with a towel as soon as possible and let it air dry.
Do not machine wash.

Gifts bought between NOVEMBER 1st and DECEMBER 24th can be returned for a full refund by JANUARY 6th but MUST HAVE RECEIPT.
Gifts may be exchanged or given store credit until JANUARY 13th.
Items must be new, unworn and with tags/labeling intact. Should the item be returned without the original receipt, a store credit will be issued for the amount of the item(s).

*Manufacturer errors include any malfunction or abnormalities that clearly occurred during production of the item. This includes, but is not limited to, stitching, construction, coloring, functioning parts or pieces, etc.

Once your return or exchange is received and inspected, we will notify you via email that it has been received as well as the status on a refund or exchange. If a refund is in order, it will be issued back to the credit card used within 72 hours of when we received the item.
